FAQ - Shipping & Returns

Fulfillment

Each product’s approximate fulfillment time is written on their description.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking number via email.

Made-to-order or custom items take up to a week to three weeks to produce and ship excluding holidays. 

 


Shipping

United States;

•  Shipping with FedEx International Priority. We ship all orders Delivered Duty Paid (DDP). By shipping DDP, duties, and taxes are collected directly at checkout so that your package is not stopped and is not held by customs and there are no surprises upon arrival.

Other Countries;

• Shipping with Japan Post Express. Please note that the shipping price does not include local import taxes, which may apply to shipments destined for countries except US.  

• These expenses are not the responsibility of the brand and must be borne by the recipient of the parcel. Regrettably, we have no control over these charges and cannot provide an estimate, as customs policies and import duties vary by country.

• The customer may assume full responsibility for all postal charges, return shipment costs, customs fees, and handling charges if they decline to accept a parcel due to import duties or taxes.

 

Delivery Failure

If, after attempts of delivery, if you miss your package and it returns to us, we will refund you the price paid for these products as soon as possible. In such a case, we will be authorized to charge you the transportation costs arising from the shipping costs.

 

Returns & Exchanges

• For exchanges, orders can be returned within 7 days of the delivery date. We do not provide shipping labels for international exchanges.  

• For international customers who want to exchange an item(s): You must cover your return shipping costs and are responsible for shipping the package from your local post office. Item(s) must be returned in the exact condition they were received.  

• Initial shipping fees are non-refundable.

• The item(s) must be returned to Moira x Mel first before your exchange can be issued. E-mail info@moiraxmel.com with your order number, the item(s) you will be exchanging, and the reason for your return. We will direct you to further instructions regarding your international exchange.

We are not covering the shipping fee and tax&duties for exchanges.

 

Repairs & Resizing

The cost of repairs varies from case to case. Repairs and resizing may take up to three weeks.

Please include your contact information, order number, date of purchase, and photo of the item when emailing about a repair. I reserve the right to deny unreasonable repair requests. 

Depends on the type of the damage, we might request extra fee for repair.

For US, we are not covering for repair shipment. You are responsible of the payment.
